By Consultants Review Team Monday, 29 July 2024

SAP Labs India said on Monday that two worldwide AI positions will be housed in its Bengaluru center. Rahul Lodhe will become the global head of engineering for SAP Business AI Copilot Joule, while Sudhakar Singh will take over as chief AI security officer, according to the business.

Lodhe, who has 24 years of expertise, will work closely with executives from several lines of business (LOBs) to ensure Joule's flawless integration.

Singh, who has over 20 years of cybersecurity expertise and has been with SAP for 12 years, will lead AI projects for SAP Business AI, focusing on cybersecurity, data protection, AI regulations, and compliance throughout the SAP Business AI portfolio.

"As multinational corporations increasingly establish their global leadership and oversee teams worldwide from India, SAP's decision to appoint two leaders from SAP Labs India to critical global AI roles underscores our commitment to empowering Indian talent on the global stage," said Sindhu Gangadharan, MD of SAP Labs India and head of customer innovation services at SAP.

Lodhe will provide crucial technical leadership, establish strategic orientations, and encourage innovation to assure software solution delivery. He will also create the product vision and strategy, ensuring that they are in line with generative AI industry trends, customer demands, and the company's commercial objectives.

Singh will work directly with global security teams and customer success to guarantee regulatory compliance, foster innovation, and preserve the security and privacy of customer data and operations.

"I eagerly anticipate the contributions Rahul and Sudhakar will make to SAP's strategic initiatives in Business AI, propelling SAP Labs India to new heights of innovation and leadership," according to Gangadharan.
